"Supernatural" creator Eric Kripke has reportedly warmed to the idea of extending the show past its fifth season. If he decides to stick around, it sounds like he'll have a receptive audience at The CW.
CW Entertainment president Dawn Ostroff said at the show's 100th episode party recently that the network is "rooting for" the show to continue, and she had some rather encouraging words for the show's rabid fans.
"We all hope there's another season for the show," Ostroff says. "Based on the ratings so far and based on season they've been having, I think there's good reason to have positive hope."
As opposed to negative hope. But grammatical quibbles aside, Ostroff's words have to be music to "Supernatural" fans' ears.
