Take My Breath Away by Janger - Set in Series 2 - suitable for age 15+

This was my first ever Fanfic. It's a four chapter adventure set near the beginning of series 2, where Sam and Dean are still coming to terms with their dad's death. It's got plenty of hurt/angsty Dean and caring/protective Sam.

It's an 8 chapter but only about 30000 words so not too taxing and it's about hopefully funny, sweet, sappy Dean in the aftermath of a head injury. I worked with head injured patients for years and they are challenging, wonderful, tragic and inspiring to work with.

I post no real warnings...maybe the odd swear word but it does get a bit darker at the end.

I'd forgotten how much fun that story was to write 'til I looked at it again. Had me in stitches more than once! ('You don't cluck at goats.' heh.) Mind you, yodelling Winchesters is a sight no-one should ever have to live with in their head... Darn that muse.

What a wonderful idea Jane, somewhere to shamelessly advertise a story.

OK so let's advertise: I've just taken the plunge and started posting my first multi-chapter fanfic. It's called 'Sam, Sammy, Samantha.' with the strap-line Only a Winchester can find trouble in a cup of coffee. Dean goes out alone and manages to get himself in a whole world of naughty trouble.

It is AU but covers mature themes and contains strong language hence its rating of M (I'd call it suitable for over 18's at the very minimum)
